Panorama format

Panoramic photography is a technique of photography, often employing specialized equipment or softwares, that captures images with horizontally elongated fields of view, and a reduced/narrow height.

Both the aspect ratio e.g. 6 x 2 aspect ratio, as opposed to the norm of a digital camera being 4 x 3, and coverage of field are important factors in defining a true panoramic image.
